Every few months, weeks, days I get tired of looking at the same colors and pictures on my blog. So today I decided to change things up once again! And since I really haven't posted my regular amount this month, I decided I would make up a post about these new changes.
Now, if you haven't already noticed, I changed the top picture (scroll up to take a look-see.) We just snapped this picture yesterday when it was sunny enough to get a good shot, and they were all awake!
To the right, you can see that I also posted new pictures of Eric with Optimus, Doh-Doh, the Sheriff of Bologna-town (my own favorite nick-name), and Iron Mike (Jerm came up with that one!)
Now if you feel bored or interested enough, you can scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and try your luck at the hangman feature, and learn a new word!
If you get the word right, you are my favorite visitor of the day! Good luck!

A little melancholy day
Lately, I have been feeling a little melancholy and sad. Just a few days ago I realized why...
I have been feeling the intense feeling of loss of an amazing woman.
Her name was Leilani, and she was a stubborn, gorgeous, hot-tempered, beautiful lady. And she just happens to be the mother of my wonderful husband.
We didn't get to spend a lot of time together, she was taken away way too early. Part of my melancholy feeling is the realization that I didn't take advantage of her knowledge and love when I had it right in front of me.
Growing up she had a rough life, we shared that background. She loved a boy that I fell hopelessly, head-over-heels in love with.
It has been a very long six years since she was last able to give me a hug, or a piggie kiss on the cheek, or we were able to watch our morning dose of Martha Stewart.
There are days when I have questions about feelings I have, Jeremy's childhood, or just how to make a totally rad casserole, yet she is no longer a phone call away.
Since some of my loyal readers know who this amazing woman was, I thought I would drown my sorrows with you in Blogtown.
Thank you for listening to my moment of missing...
On a completely lighter note, as I was looking for this picture I came across another photo that made me remember the earlier days too, so I will also share it with you all...
This was taken when living in Tacoma, Wa in the summer of 2007. I love looking at these older pictures of my boys and Jeremy together, so I hope you do as well.

Home-cooked dinners!
We enjoy getting strange looking and unusual things to eat for dinner, the boys are usually very good sports about it. On this particular night last week me and the boys went grocery shopping, and while looking for delicious cuts of meat, we happened to check out the fresh lobster tank.
After mulling it over and over, I decided to splurge a lot and try my hand at cooking one. So, the butcher grabbed a big one, weighed it, and gently placed it in a cardboard box and away we went with it. Right when I got home, we put it in the sink and told Jeremy to come look at our surprise.
From there we terrorized the boys a little with it. And let me assure you, live lobsters don't like to be played with...
Then we borrowed a big pan to boil it in from the neighbor and simple as that, we were eating home cooked, fresh lobster, dipped in melted butter, and served with a healthy portion of red meat! It was definitely a dinner we will remember for awhile to come.

Silly forward pictures
As I'm sure most of you all get the regular "forward" emails, I thought I would post some of my favorite pictures from the latest round I received from my cousin in Rigby, Idaho.
Thanks, Katie!
I tried several times to complete this task with no mistakes, but failed miserably everytime. I don't think I even got past the second line without messing up more than twice! So, I wish you luck!
And then there's this one, for at least the first three minutes, i stared and stared and couldn't figure it out, but then I got frustrated, sat back, and blinked. Then POW! it was right there in front of my little eyes.
Beware, below I have listed two clues.
Clue 1: Look for the baby.
Clue 2: Take a closer look at the tree limbs.
Let me know your results and good luck!

Math Sucks!
I am now in the middle of my math class through the college! And I've got one word to describe it - UUGGHH!!!!
This is literally making my brain explode! I can understand why some people need to know how to solve inequalities, and I know that it will probably make sense some day, but wow!
That's all I have to say right now, if anyone needs me I will be practicing my math equations and trying to make sense of it all.

Snowy - Noey
The weather has been all over the place here, we had a very white Christmas, it all melted and the sky was blue (although bitter cold still), and then yesterday we woke up to a few inches carpeting our little piece of Earth.
Even in just a few inches of snow, the driveway gets super slick and packed in with those little ice-crystals.
Jeremy caught this picture of a whiny Noah, sucking his favorite thumb, when I was looking at pictures this morning I knew I had to include it.
