Autumn Beehive

This afghan was also just finished today. I am calling it Autumn Beehive for Elise Reagan. It was a very fun interesting stitch that was worked with two strands of yarn throughout. I have found that working with two strands makes the afghan much fuller while being much quicker to finish.

Baby Afghan for Gabriella Shumate

I just recently finished this afghan for my good friends' baby girl, Ella Shumate. I love to crochet, it's my favorite hobby, and my other hobby is giving them away, if you haven't already received one from me, you probably will be getting one soon.

A year ago today

Exactly a year ago today, we were driving around the waterway in Tacoma and these are the magical results of that little trip!

Biking his way to the big leagues!

It took him 6 1/2 years, but Eric learned how to ride his bike without training wheels! Hooray for the little biker!

Happy Birthday, Dr. Suess!

On Monday, Eric's kindergarten class celebrated Dr. Suess' birthday! They had an afternoon read-in, all wearing their "jammies" and Me, Timo, and Noah all joined in the fun, well, maybe Noah didn't so much! We also got to enjoy the famous "Green Eggs and Ham".
